The score at the end of the game may not be what we all want but to see a team of lads walk tall at the end says a lot.
These boys will put their bodies on the line every Saturday for this club, not as an individual but as brothers going to war.
Unknown of the outcome, but knowing they are walking shoulder to shoulder with their brothers in arms to play for Spotty!
The atmosphere before and afterwards felt very different, a feeling that something special had happened, a feeling amongst them all that they wanted to be there together from start to the very-bitter end.
You wouldn’t think we had injuries amongst these boys because they go do what is needed of them and that’s to take the field, with laughter, the love, and most importantly friendship between them all.
Heads up boys next game we be having chicken on a stick.
Big mihi as always going out to all our coaching and management teams, our supporters the club and most importantly our boys that bounce between both teams to make our numbers count regardless if they have played 40 mins or 80 mins they get up and do it all over again!
