vs Inglewood
The doggies finally manage to get a couple of W’s on the board last weekend!
Division One had a humdinger battle in wet and trying conditions against a very competitive Inglewood squad. The game was played up and down the park with staunch defense from both sides, however the spoils finally came Spotswood United way deep into the game securing a well deserved 8 -7 win. Shot boys.
In the Colts game played at the same time will definitely be boost the team needs after being short of players for the first 2 rounds. They certainly made a statement on their first trot on home soil with a solid 24 – 7 victory.
The Premiers looked competitive for long periods of the game, but were shown up by a backline masterclass from Cody Hall and Avon Lewis for Inglewood who broke the defence on many occasions. Lack of uninjured players are still plaguing the Premier squad, which all things going to plan will be back on track player-wise over the next fortnight. The premiers went down to Inglewood 49 -10.
