What a huge improvement against Clifton! The goal was to get some points on the board and that they did, no doubt it gave Clifton a shock and a shake up!
The game started off with a bang with Jasey getting the very first points on the board 4 minutes into the game and being converted by Joshua, 2 minutes later Clifton got their first lot of points on the board and who continued to push their lead out, a few minutes before half time Stewart got over the try line and converting his own try giving the boys some more boast in knowing they could still do this! Halftime refuel and pep talk and back into we went
Second half saw Clifton still getting the upper hand on us but the team kept fighting, dug in some more even the little chip and chase from Villi got us excited pretty epic in our books! Tyler scored our last try right before the end giving us a final score of 19-57 which meant we kept them still under 60 got some points on board and you all should be proud of that effort!
The final score doesn’t reflect what happened on the field not even close to it.
It was the effort, the grit and determination to show we are here and we are ain’t going anywhere! Keep your heads up team! 2 more games to go let’s finish it with a bang!
As always thank you to our coaching and management teams for all your mahi for the team, Stewart for filling a spot for us, our supporters and club for always supporting regardless the results
