Another tough day in the office for our boys going down to costal, but in saying that was one hell of an improvement compared to the last time we met, It was redemption game, we were either going to get it or not, and we knew coastal weren’t going to let us get it so easy either
last time the boys meet they didn’t manage any points on costal and going down to them 62-0 only to turn this game around and keeping them under 50 definitely a better game from the lads even if we didn’t get any points on the board this sometime either.
The goal was to start off strong for the first 10 mins of the game, which they did and although coastal secured the first 5 points of the game it was for the next 20 mins of the first half the boys didn’t let coastal budge what so ever, putting up amazing defence and they should be bloody proud of their efforts yes there were times it fell apart but there were some epic moments from them too which was brilliant to see some exciting moments throughout the game not all of it was dull.
Regardless what the score said or what everyone else thinks you keep those heads up high, keep pushing forward, keep striving for the very best, keep backing yourselves and your team mates because we are still right behind you all! Rest, reflect and look after any niggles that where sustained, we have 3 games left and who knows those could be our 3 games
“Do mahi and those treats will come”
As always big mihi going out to our coaching and management teams, supporters, and the club for always backing us regardless of the outcome of each Saturday!
Nga mihi
