Not a very long report this week more or less just a report in how proud we where of these boys despite the score which will never tell the whole story on what plays out on the field

Everything that wanted to be thrown at us thing…did again, injuries, sickness, whanau commitments, mahi you name it, it was trying to prevent us from fielding a team, but with a few new recruits and a positive attitude we managed to pull it together even with just 2 reserves we gave it all we had! The boys still defended the line, they attacked, they tackled, they back each other up, even injuries happened one after another and ending up with the bare 15 on the field we played 80 mins of solid rugby and that’s all we asked of them!

We head to the chook pen this weekend for our final game and it sure will be epic!

Big mihi going out as always to our coaching and management team, our supporters, the club for always backing us no matter the outcome and to our 4 boys for benching for our prems so they too could field their team now that’s “Kotahitanga” unity, united as one!

Special mention to our 2 boys Tomasi and Kodee for making the Initial training squad for Naki U19s absolutely proud of you both! Keep working hard and anything is possible cement your place like we know you can!
