On a high after getting our first win in a couple of seasons, the lads turned up to training on Tuesday ready to plan for another week and another win. Unfortunately, at training and the rest of the week leading up to the game players started to get ruled out with injuries, family & work commitments which meant the coaching team had to ask a few players to play in different positions then they normally would.

The first 15 minutes of the game while both teams tested each other out, both teams scored two good team tries this included Tamati Taylor-Tupaea scoring a double.

AJ scored another good forward try in the 24th minute and then Coastal camped on the spotty try line for the next 10 minutes unfortunately Malachi received a yellow card for being offside and then Coastal scored right on half time.

The second half was just as entertaining as the first half with both teams wanting to play hard and fast. Ethan slotted a penalty goal then coastal scored two converted tries. The Spotty lads worked hard and tried to attack coastal and play in their half but could only manage one more try in the last 3 minutes. Losing 35 -29

There were lots of positives that came out of the game one being the lads played for 80minutes.

Congratulations Ethan Reti for the awesome effort of 50 Starts for the club.
