It’s been a rough week, leading up to game day, injuries, mahi, whanau commitments, illnesses all trying to prevent us from fielding a team this weekend but you know what despite all that and last minute registrations we fielded our team even if it meant we only had 2 or 3 on the bench!
Our boys fronted up today, started off slightly off in the first half with Clifton getting the upper hand on us boys did manage a great try with Luke Bisson diving over the line at the 23rd minute.
Half time rolled round with a pep talk & replenishment and by golly these boys gave it back not letting Clifton in one bit for the last 35 mins of the game holding them back it was a great shift from these boys regardless the score they gave the opposition a shake up and showed them they weren’t giving up! Be proud of yourselves team, hold your heads up and bring on the new week!
Big mihi going out to our supporters, coaching and management teams for all their time and mahi and to our boys who stepped up to bench for our prems team even after 80mins of their own game ☺️
