Last weekend saw an double header against Southern with the Premiers playing on Thursday evening and Division One on Easter Friday.
PREMIERS
What can I say!!!!
It was a typical autumn day, warm with a slight breeze circling about
Sheds where set with water, juice, lollies and the battle armour hanging ready for the battle that lay ahead
As the sun set and the air became crisp as night descended, the all mighty lights of Yarrow Stadium lite up revealing the battlefield of the first official home game of the season against Southern
while the boys prepared in the background.
Walking towards the field, no one would know what was going to happen over the next 80 mins of unpredictable rugby it could go this way or that.
Unfortunately Southern got the upper hand of the night but that didn’t mean our boys didn’t give up they kept fighting to the very bitter end finishing the night with a try from Tamati Tupaea, a conversion and a penalty kick from Ethan Reti.
Congratulations to Southern on a well-played game, look forward to seeing you on your home turf in the second round.
It’s not the score on the scoreboard but the 22 brothers that walk out to the battlefield and the 22 players that return, heads held wearing their hearts on their sleeves regardless of the results
Its not over until it’s over still plenty more season to go don’t count us out yet!

DIVISION ONE
Division One had a similar tussle as last weekend finding themselves behind early, just small things that didn’t help us with a thew boys getting injured early on.
With a healthy strong southern side the boys stuck in and had a try to Legend.
It wasn't until 2nd half the boys started to clean things up, to a late try to Daniel Fa’aseu.
We had a shared player of the day this week, that was our captain Dylan Treweek and hard ball carrier Feterika Fidow.
